Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.
God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts.
Use them well to serve one another. This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
What will we drink? What will we wear? Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing.
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.
I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free. The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light. The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. You will enjoy the fruit of your labor. How joyful and prosperous you will be! Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it.
Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.
For the Lord is a faithful God.
